Luciano Spalletti got a first look around his new home on Friday as president Aurelio De Laurentiis and vice-president Edoardo De Laurentiis gave him a guided tour of the Konami Training Centre.
The coach arrived around 1 pm and briefly greeted the journalists present, before taking in the offices, dressing rooms, gym and pitches.
Spalletti then spent some time speaking to Aurelio and Edo De Laurentiis before leaving the training ground in the late afternoon.

Interessante Statistik. Ich denke bislang kann man mit Spallettis Arbeit mehr als zufrieden sein. Aus meiner Sicht ist zumeist ein klarer Matchplan und eine (attraktive) Spielidee erkennbar. Die Resultate sprechen für sich. Mir gefällt außerdem sehr, dass die Mannschaft nach Rückschlägen offensichtlich nicht so schnell aufgibt, wie es in der Vergangenheit teilweise der Fall war. Womöglich erreicht der Mister unsere Spieler auch auf mentaler Ebene hervorragend. Die Saison ist natürlich noch sehr lang und es kann sich noch viel verändern, doch mein bisheriger Eindruck ist auf jeden Fall sehr positiv.

Man muss wirklich sagen, dass Spalletti insgesamt einen sehr guten Job macht. Vor Saisonbeginn hätten wohl die Wenigsten erwartet, dass wir im März Tabellenführer sind und trotz vieler Ausfälle um den Scudetto mitspielen. Besonders beeindruckend finde ich vor allem die Verbesserung unserer Defensive. Obwohl Abwehrchef Koulibaly rund zwei Monate fehlte, stellen wir weiterhin die beste Defensive der Serie A. Spieler wie Rrahmani, Lobotka oder Elmas haben sich unter Spalletti deutlich verbessert und weiterentwickelt. Ein Juan Jesus, von dem niemand etwas erwartet hat, erlebt seinen zweiten Frühling. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr froh, dass Spalletti unser Trainer ist und beispielsweise nicht Allegri, zu dem es damals ebenfalls Gerüchte gab.

Man muss Mister Spalletti wirklich ein großes Kompliment aussprechen. Er hat eine klare Spielidee entwickelt, die jeder Spieler des Kaders verinnerlicht hat. Wir spielen attraktiven Offensivfußball, agieren allerdings variabler als in den besten Sarri-Zeiten. Spieler wie Rrahmani, Mario Rui, Di Lorenzo und vor allem Lobotka haben sich unter ihm eindeutig weiterentwickelt und verbessert.
Ich hoffe, dass sein Vertrag zeitnah verlängert wird. Der aktuelle Vertrag läuft ja bis 2023 inklusive Option auf ein bzw. zwei weitere Jahre.
